Who owns the fan data that I collect using Fangage?

Concerns about your data’s security and privacy are of great importance, that is why we at Fangage place emphasis on protecting and securing your own data, as well as all data about your fans. We adopt a mentality based on customer trust and integrity and accordingly, all of your data is safe and private.

Any data collected, stored, and used on your Fangage platform is yours and you are the sole owner of that data*. Our customers trust us with important data which includes sensitive demographic and psychographic information about their fans.
The data is forever yours to keep and will not be shared with any third-parties. We will never sell or share your data unless we are required to do so by public authorities.
By using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology on the Fangage environment and website, we can protect and secure sensitive information like payment information that is provided to us. As a result, Fangage's data exchange is seamless and secure..

Any information or content communicated between you and your fans using Fangage is your responsibility, and we advise you to help protect sensitive information about you and your fans. You shall never give out sensitive information to other services and third parties. Fangage will never ask for your fans' payment information and will never send any messages to your fans without your permission. If you ever want to cancel your Fangage platform, you can export your fan data based on the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), which became enforceable on May 25, 2018. After cancellation, your own data and collected fan data will be wiped securely.

*If you use admin roles, any admin user that you choose will have access to your fan data. It is your responsibility to give access only to trusted individuals or companies.
